Here at Viking forest we are passionate about preserving and protecting the local woodlands. Our forestry management team offer sustainable natural preservation of the woodland and ensure it is safe for public recreation.
When forests and woodlands are well managed, they can provide great homes for wildlife and a perfect place for the people to visit – we always set ourselves a challenge to always keep the forests and woodlands maintained to a fantastic standard.
Our Forestry Management duties include:
- Tree Planting and Pruning, Thinning and Felling
- Weed and Pest Control
- Wildlife habitat creation
- Public Footpath Maintenance
- Surveys of the local trees, wildlife and waterways
We use all the correct PPE and work equipment for every forestry maintenance job we undertake. All our staff are fully trained and comply with all Health & Safety legislation.
